    The Story

    Just check out some of the pics...

    Clearly a helmetless spartan, dual wielding hard light machetes, with a blue skinned female scion in the background casting a spell.

    It's a marine! But all the icons and stuff look like they came from WoW, not the Halo universe.

    I'm not really dissapointed it was cancelled, if they did a Halo MMO I'd want it to be an MMOFPS, and at least try to stay close to the established Halo universe.

    It looks exactly like World of Warcraft with a Tron feel to it.

    looks horrible... i wish we could get more complex MMO games. The only attractive MMO's on the market today is Anarachy Online, Eve Online and the old version of SWG before it got turned into **** ohh and Everquest!

    I hate easy gameplay mmorpgs like LOTR, WOW and all the other 150 mmos on tha market.

    I'd wager those pics are fakes. The UI in the second pic is the WoW UI modified in some paint package or other.

    The only way to get halo in a mmo is to use the Planetside format. You can't transform a FSP into a RPG.

    They're fake in the sense that they are prototype concept art, it would definitely make sense to start by copying WoW before fleshing out the UI into a unique style.

    That could actually be sweet if they did it right. The halo universe has so many possibilities for new species and planets. Also, the vast level of varying terrain and great number of vehicles could have made for some extreme pve and pvp. Oh well, I'm looking forward to the kotor mmo at this point

    I still think halo is overrate game by microsoft. First halo was good but after playing 2nd and 3rd it didnt feel like whole new game. I'm glad they canceled mmo.

    Yea, these were real, ensemble studios was developing this along with Halo Wars, but the project was cancelled due to MSG shutting down the studio after this month. It does look like WoW, and what's more surprizing is that it's got a keyboard layout, which means it would have been a PC game, I would have thought MGS would have wanted the halo brand to be strictly on thier Xbox360 first.

    While I'm no fan of ANY mmorpg game, I still have to say that this just looks terrible!
