Whats the difference between a Geforce Go 8400M GT and a normal nVidia 8400M GT... ive seen lots of "Go" stuff between names and wonder if its a weaker version of the card?

The 8400M GT is the mobile version of the card, and the "Go" part is just people getting the name wrong from last years 7 series, which had the "Go" part. So there is no difference

The "GO" is a misnomer. The mobile GeForce series used to be labeled as the GeForce GO series (e.g., GeForce GO 7950 GTX). With the 8000 series, nVIDIA changed the naming to the "M" series (e.g., GeForce 8400M GT).

A GeForce 8000 series card would be a GeForce 8x00M. Anyone who calls it a GeForce Go 8x00M is just mistyping the name.
