    Use this code:

    [image=600]image.jpg[/image]

    Or set whatever image size width you want. Then users can click on it and get it full size.

    Nice info. Trinity is starting to look quite promising! :D

    Thanks. Yeah eagerly waiting to see how good the graphic performance of this trinity is. 50% GPU increase is a lot especially when Llano isn`t that bad either :)

    A thread should be made for mobile graphics news coming out of CES, instead of posting it in this one, which is unrelated to the expo.

    Looks like AMD will be following Nvidia about the release dates of next gen GPUs for notebooks. So the waiting continues, atleast for those who don`t want rebrands :(

    The thing is, it's lost in this thread, because most people aren't clicking on one titled as being focused on rebranded GPUs.

    If anything, make a brand new post, titled as a general thread for news of the next generation GPUs.

    7970M will be 1408 or 1280
    7990M will be 1408 or 1536

    We'll just have to wait and see.

    At this point, I guess the 7970M will be 1280, and 7990M will be 1408.

    That's why speculating is so fun, so I can pretend to be smart when things make me look semi-accurate.

    I'll probably hold out for the 1408 shader chip, which is why I'm hoping that is the 7970M right up front. I need to RRA my machine and they'll probably give me a 6990M for free anyway, so I can definitely wait for the best 7900M chip possible.

    If its 1280 then the new card will be barely faster than 6990M :|

    Not really, the GCN architecture is already faster at the same number of stream processors, so by detault it would be over 20% just by extra stream processors and the new architecture. Not to mention that the new architecture also is much faster in tessalation etc.

    Then it would make sense for the 7970M to have 1280sp leaving room for the 7990M with 1408.
    1536 would seem too much for the 7990M... 27% improvement over the 6990M, and only in sp count. Architectural improvement and others would be kind of 35% total over the 6990M which would not be bad, really. That would be approx 20.000 in Vantage. :D

    I really hope that is true. 20k vantage at stock would be incredible!
