    HI

i can't get any corect temp readings from my laptop(packard bell mv86-003, see specs in sig). NHC, everest, intel thermal analysis tool and core temp all show about 15-16C, even when under load. Speedfan is even worse: 8c!! The video card doesn't give any readings. The HDD is at 31C right now, and after a day of downloading it won't go over 43, which are good temps for as far as i know. Oddly enough, the fan seems to regulate itself corectly. it's pretty quiet right now and stops from time to time, but when i play a 3d game it much faster and noisier. I tried all temp monitoring programs, but to no avail. The bios, even after an update, has no option regarding temperature.I basically have no ideea at what temp this thing is going . For all i know, the gpu/cpu could be going at 100C  I talked to the service guys on the phone and they said that it's a detecting issue but if the fan works properly then there's no problem. I have 1 year and 3 months(bought it in march) of warranty left and i'm afraid it will fry just after it expires.

    Please, help. thanks in advance

For CPU, use RMClock, it shows everything you need plus has the ability to undervolt when NHC usually doesn't.
For GPU, since you have an ATI, try AMD GPU Clock Tool (google it). It's the only one that I found that measured the temp on mine.
But if you're that worried about the temps being overboard get a laptop cooler, check it out online or your local computer store(s) they should have them.

But if the temps really go overboard, wouldn't i notice it? like the notebook becoming too hot to touch, type on or something like that? Currently, the fan stops from time to time and its a little warm, mostly the underside the heatsink vent. When playing a game, it becomes pretty warm, but certainly not to the point that you can't touch it. The only part uncomfortable to touch is the vent with the heatsink, but i guess that's normal. So it should be fine right?

Yeah, you're good if it's not uncomfortably hot, if the fans stopping then it means it's reached it's minimum temp. Probably around 40C +-5 which is well within the limits of both the CPU and GPU. If you're that worried about heat, get a laptop cooler.
