I have installed the following :

    1. Hitman : Blood Money
    2. Ghost Recon 3 : Advanced Warfighter

and they are running A-OK on my Vista on HP dv6291ea.

In addition to installing the game, i had to copy some DX9.0c DLL files in Vista's System32 folder. Because Vista has DX10.0. And the game didnt recognize DX10. So i copied some DX9 DLL file. And it worked A-OK.

And the games also run extreamly good on my machine. because i have nVidia 7400 with 3.0 pixel shader which is enough for these games.

Although the Game : Splinter Cell : Double Agent does not run ok on vista. I solved the problem of DX9 but still it refused to run under vista. It needs XP. So dont try to install this huge 10GB game on vista, waste of time. just run it under XP but it also needs atleast 1GB Ram. so if u have XP, DX9.0c, Pixel Shader 3 capable GPU and 1GB ram. the game will run ok.

yes; i am working on it. "bcdedit.exe" in vista is related to booting process, and it has so many command lines. i have to see in the help files for that.

has anyone encounter an internet problem with vista home premium. my buddy cant connect to a linksys speedbooster router. well he can connect but it limits him to local connectivity. its like hes being censored from the internet. just thought i would ask since everyone is talking about vista.
