    Hello everyone.

I am thinking about getting a ATI Radeon HD 4850 graphics card but I don't know if it will work on my laptop.
My computer is a TOSHIBA Satellite L305D laptop and my current graphics card is a ATI Radeon X1250 3GB RAM
Now my question is this graphics card compatible with my computer and can I replace the card my self or do I need to take it somewhere?

    Any help will be great!

That's an onboard graphic card as far as I know, so now way to change it... sorry!

Edit: Yep, onboard, see here. Anyway, if you need more power you will need to get a new laptop... and if you want to be able to change the graphic card, the system must have an mxm-card, and even then it's not guaranteed that you can change the GPU without issues... power consumption, bios support, sometimes manufacturers got non-mxm conform connectors even though they use a mxm card...

You system has an expresscard slot. So could do a DIY ViDock connecting to an external monitor.
