Do you know how much power this laptop consumes ?
I think it's better to go for the 8600GT.The SLI does not bring much performance [30% at most] and 8600GT is more powerful than 7800GTX while consumes less.

I would just wait for the Clevo D900C. The moment the 8800M GTX is released, be assured they'll find their way into the D900C. Clevo currently has two 7950GTX's in SLI.

Ahtec is a European computer reseller:

    http://servicios.ahtec.org/index_menu.htm

Website is in Spanish or Dutch(?) only. No English. Appears they've been around for a while. No feedback on them, though.

That laptop would run pretty hot. It would probably just be better to buy a desktop and a cheap laptop.

You should wait for higher end graphics cards to come out this summer that support Direct x 10.

    ok thanks for the advice.

anyway, i can feel a strange thing. That laptop was at €2000+ two weeks ago, and now i has dropped bruttally... something is coming!!! I hope prices dont go up too much because of the 8600s.

    thanks
