The games forum gets non stop questions about graphics cards and it's doing my head in!!!

I'd like to talk about games and sometimes video cards but this is silly!!!

We need a big list of graphics cards and what games they can play at max settings etc

Why not have to seperate parts on the forum, one for graphics cards, and the other for actual games?

IMO they should be the same forum..they do go hand in hand.

cant control the questions that are posted though. i have posted a few topics that have gotten very little interest, whereas the gpu threads get around 15 hits each time.

A guide? There are so many guides online already, plus I thought you already made one up.

    Hrmm, maybe I'm mistaken.

Anyhoo' I know what you mean darbyjack, I know what you mean.

Well, this one is based on performance. ;)

I'll be integrating my previous guide and the one I just wrote together this week.

Chaz...i think instead of making a huge list of gpu and games they can play and at what settings, i think there should be a list of GPU, with games it CANT play..it will make it easier, and the list will be muchmore compact.

Good suggestion. Probably be difficult to do, as some will argue that you 'can' play FEAR on an X300. I'll put in a small section under each group for "What you can play" and "What you can't play".

    Thanks,
    Chaz

    Ooo... sounds great :)

Btw, regarding those 3dmark bench points, is there somewhere we can check which games need a certain number of points to play at max settings, etc etc?

    hmm.. did that sound right..

then do this..in the top part where you describe what the guide will be...put..MINIMUM FPS THAT I CONSIDER PLAYABLE IS 30FPS..NO LESS...so when they say...well game xx plays on my x300 at 18fps...then you can say...NP..not playable..
