I'm getting an E1505, 2ghz dual core, 2gb ram, and the 256 x1400 card, I know the processor and ram are good, but with that card will I be able to run battlefield 2?

1st of all, there is no dumb question, you asked wat you dont know
And YES, it will run very good, high to medium setting.
My Radeon 9600Pro can run BF2 so you can no problem.
    That a nice laptop.

    well...yes very well.

I'd just like to say two things.

1.) Look at the recommended specifications of the game. If the laptop meets the recommended specifications of the game, then you should be able to play the game at medium/high detail settings. If your computer just about reaches the minimum settings, then don't expect to play at good detail settings.

2.) Have a look at ChazMan's Graphics Comparasion Chart. It will give you an exact idea of how good your graphics card is and what games it can handle at what detail setting.

Thanks for the responses, yeah I got a very sweet deal buy purchasing through my company and using the 35% off dell was having, I'm tempted to post what all I got, but i don't wanna be a jerk. The only reason I wasn't sure was because this is my first laptop and I don't know how well the video cards perform with the intensive games.

oh cool deal...very nice! Enjoy your new lappy when it comes.

Mobile GPU's now compare to the performance of full size, desktop ones.
