Hi there people,
I have just placed an order for this laptop ; http://www.pcnextday.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?ProductCode=3382-6301. I have also decided to buy an extra 1gb of ram ( 677 ).
I was wondering if this laptop would be able to play such games as BF 2, CS source, fear and Cryis ( when released ). Also what settings for these games ?.
Thanks.

CS Source: highest settings at native resolution.
Battlefield 2: high settings at native resolution.
FEAR: medium-high settings at native resolution.
Crysis: Probaly 800*600 at medium settings in DirectX 9 mode.
I am not sure about Crysis, the game is still in production. You can also search the forum for more info about the X1600. Great notebook, but the CPU can form a very small bottleneck. T2400 is my favourite, great price/performance ratio.

Wow that is actually a very good price for an X1600 laptop, especially in this part of europe (britain and ireland, where laptops are really expensive for gaming)
