CS Source: highest settings at native resolution.
Battlefield 2: high settings at native resolution.
FEAR: medium-high settings at native resolution.
Crysis: Probaly 800*600 at medium settings in DirectX 9 mode.

I am not sure about Crysis, the game is still in production. You can also search the forum for more info about the X1600. Great notebook, but the CPU can form a very small bottleneck. T2400 is my favourite, great price/performance ratio.

Yay!! thanks you so much. I was getting a bit worried because of its really cheap price but i can now relax. could you also check the ram im ordering http://www.pcnextday.co.uk/products/ProductDetail.asp?ProductCode=3790-1030. It seems quite reliable but if i add that to the 512mb ram already installed in my laptop, would the overall ram on my laptop = 1.5gb ?.

Sounds like a stupid question but im not to good with this computer stuff  .

Wow that is actually a very good price for an X1600 laptop, especially in this part of europe (britain and ireland, where laptops are really expensive for gaming)
