I recently overclocked my GPU and this is my results..

When i ran 3Dmark06, my GPU reached a MAX of 69 celcius

it revolved mainly around 64~ degrees celcius

    the clocks are 501/655.

I have a Zalman NC1000. Is it helping? i really dont know o_O

Well we really can't help you unless we know what the temperatures without the cooler are...

Seems a bit warm, but as smoothtofu said, without knowing the temps with your other cooler we can't tell if it's helping or not.

The Zalman cooler doesnt blow out air fast right? its only 1,500 rpm ...the gap between the cooler and the laptop is like 1-2 inches apart...is that alot? should the laptop come in closer contact to the cooler

That's not too hot. I usually run at 72C during load. (550/700 now)

Make sure its not blowing air in the opposite direction as your computer fan, sometimes those things can do more harm than good.

also, those temps are fine... mine gets to 90 celcius under a full load.

Those temps are fine. I wouldn't worry until they go into the low 80s and above

The temps are way within normal limits. No worries.

Bought to say, if that is high, I must be doing something wrong. Under full and constant load I get up to 91C as my recorded high. I hover at 88C ish with OC during 3dmark, but I do have the 8600, compared to you 8400.

Temps look okay to me. It really depends on what your temps before OCing were. I run a max of 94C on mine without OC under heavy load. Graphics cards get hot. End of story. You just need to make sure that there isn't a huge increase in temps after OCing.

As long as you keep the temp UNDER 90 C you`ll be fine.
Just make sure you clean your laptop of dust every 2-3 months.
