I downloaded Throttlestop yesterday. Now, when I try to open it I get a "This version has now expired" message. Then I get a redirect to a download link point ing to the SAME software (v5.00 beta) I downloaded before and a message informing me that this beta version expires in 30 days and to obtain the full version.
    1)Its been 1 day not 30
    2) There is no full version 5 that I can see anywhere...

Can you post a screen shot of that? ThrottleStop is free software. Someone might have hacked the version you downloaded. No one should be requesting any money for ThrottleStop.

ThrottleStop 5.00 won't be finalized for a while until I can afford some new Ivy hardware.

Here you go. Ive scanned it for viruses/bots with nothing there...

    --------------------------
Hey Unclewebb, just another thing, I had previously uninstalled/reinstalled windows from scratch. I also went from professional to Ultimate in the process....
Not sure if the 30 day expiry was triggered by a change in windows

    --------------------------
Ok, further development.... I changed the date on my pc back to last week (25th June) and VOILA! Throttlestop now works...btw it's 1st July... is there a setting in your app that has 1st july as a significant date?

The pop up message doesn't say anything about purchasing the full version.

The beta was not a 30 day trial. I just set it to expire at the end of the month. I thought I set it to expire at the end of July but I guess it expires at the end of June. It's a long weekend here so I probably won't look at it again until next week.

I've messaged Kevin and as soon as he has a new build, we'll replace the download with the updated one. You should not receive any solicitations for money from ThrottleStop or the hosting site (Tech|Inferno). I admin T|I and I guarantee there's no such message in the TS software or our site.
