    Tiberian Sun won't start

    I pulled out my dusty copy of tiberian sun and installed it... then tried to run it, it won't start.

    I set both sun.exe and game.exe to admin rights and compatibility to windows 98/Me....

    The hourglass on my mouse will appear then will disappear and nothing will happen...

    Try downloading it for free off the official site. Hopefully that version will start.

    i posted a thread with near similar problems. (free CnC games won't work?)

    try running Game.exe with Administrator.

    as you can see melthd, i already set both game.exe and sun.exe to administrator and compatibility to windows 98 (tried xp as well)

    Download the free versions of TFD from the official site and then use the unofficial patch version 1.03.

    Another user on a different forum who had the same problem as you has confirmed that installing this patch as suggested fixed it and it is now working.

    eek sorry, didn't read the whole post, my bad. could try downloading TS (its totally free now). it works with Admin, and it ain't too big to download anyways.
