Maybe I missed this, but there's an upcoming C&C shooter called Tiberium and it's going to be on the PC! Let's hope its better than Renegade!

i was thinking the same about renegade. the game had good idea's and made good use of C&C's int property but the experience was just whatever. hopefully they'll bring back Kane at least.

Will it crash like Renegade did? Depends on how well the game is made and whether fans are willing to ignore the bad history and give this a chance.

from what i've seen this game's looking very very promising, fighting using transforming weapons alongside giant mechs in chaos filled streets with multiple dropships hovering above the ground just one word to describe: cool, i just wonder if they can keep things intersting and fresh all the way through. i've always thought the C&C universe could make a great fps shooter...

I was hoping that you would be a commando and the missions in general would be stealthy (think Tanya missions in Red Alert 1). On the otherhand that could get repetitive quickly so adding the ability to control units keeps that RTS feeling in there. I just hope it isn't utter chaos the whole time.

Well, wasn't Starcraft Ghost supposed to be, well, a Ghost - with stealth missions? It could be kind of like Splinter Cell games. That would be cool.

I just got my PC Gamer magazine today and they have some screen shots in it with a mini review. Looks good from what I can see but I'll wait and see what reviews it gets before I buy it. Is it just me or has PC Gamer really gone downhill the last few years? Anyway if you subscribe to PC Gamer you can check out the preview there.

I always thought Computer Gaming World was the best magazine. Now its Games for Windows - which I thought they'd be so pro-MS I'd puke. Well, they've proven they're disassociated from them because they basically puked all over Halo 2 and Shadow Run as well as slam Vista on a regular basis for its dogged performance and slow progress to fix issues.
