Time Shift on 8600m-GT DDr2....Just WOooOW

Hi everyone

I wanted to show you some images of time shift on my 8600m-GT 256 DDr2

So far this is the best demo I ever tried on my Laptop (both graphics & game play wise)

Here you go:









(note: the game looks much better in motion + screens are in jpg format not bmp which is better quality than jpg but much bigger in size)

This game runs really really Good.....

Better than any thing i tried (COD4 & Clive Jerico)

First the graphics looks NICEEEE

+ the game play is coooooooooool

+ VVVVVVVery smooooth fps on my card (what about stronger cards)

The resolution is same as pics + all options to max except some (vsync,AA,...)

Other than that the game is perfect (on my laptop at least)

You should all try it

I need to say that it seems that this game is better optimized for nVidia cards + I OCed my card while playing

If you think COD4 is good.....then this is 100 times better

And if crysis can run like this game.....that would be GREAT!!!

I agree.. it is really fun, but don't say it's 100x better than COD4, it's a completely different style of FPS..

 

runs like crap om my setup (in sig), sure it runs but its as smooth as bioshock on high, the sway of the mouse lag is just horrible

 

COD4 is great!!!

Time shift is funny FPS...

 

How many fps are you getting? How about some fraps results?

It's Aspire 5920 with Intel T7300 with 8600M GT

he didn't even state the res he played it on(i might be blind, however). i ran it on 1280*800 maxed out on my 1520, it was playable, however, i could def. feel some slowdowns, nothing too horrible tho

 

He did, he mentioned that res is same as the screenshots size.

THis game is not that great looking don't get what all the hooplah is about. The character models are bleh. The environment looks but all in all its nothing mind blowing. I find Half life episode 2 to be much better as well as the other demos. And yes the settings are all at max.

Lowest Fps i got was about 25-26 when alot of things are happening ... which was also very playable

Ive got HL2 orange box on the xbox360 and i was really really disappointed with gfx only (the game play is awsome)

HL2----> same gfx as original
HL2 E1--> same
HL2 E2--> slightly better

And i heard that the developers used 97% of the xbox360 power...I say.....t

If that was 97% of the x360 power....then games like gears of war takes 150%!!!

I know there is alot of physics in this game....but thats not an execuse

Also I dont think you even tried time shift

Tried? I'm sorry I'm not one of those people that makes things up, I have the demo and have played it 2 times already. First of all the concept of the game is unoriginal as blinx on the xbox did this and actually was more enjoyable than this.

What does how much utilization of a gpu have to do with anything? Half life 2 episode 2 looks alot more realistic than timeshift and I have no idea where you got this 97% business which if even it was true means nothing.

Timeshift has alot of reflections and thats much pretty it. The texturs are ok the character animations are blocky as well as the character designs themselves. Compare a model of a npc in episode 2 vs timeshift and the differences are apparent.

The gameplay was nothing innovative and is basically a copy of blinx format. The demo's ending was even boring, mow guys down with a turret face a mech.

Sure v, I don't care that much just voicing my opinion because the thread was regarding how great the graphics are and I just thought they weren't amazing. Regardless runs fine max settings no aa on my 8600 at 1280 x 800.

what do you think about the game people!!

 

what i personally think about the graphics...they are alright, the thing that makes them look nice is all that glowing aura around the objects that takes a big toll on the overall performance of the game. if it were not for that, it would be just a regular game....crysis bet looks a lot better, imho

 

in terms of graphics and the smoothness of the game, timeshift is the best of all the demos ive played (cod4,ut3) - i put the settings on all med/high with 1280x800 and it was flawless, not one bit of slowdown despite everything going on...

the game on the other hand, it seems a little cheesy with the rewind/pause stuff.

oh and i run a 8700m GT 512mb ddr3

 

the rain pisses me off lol,
