The wait is nearly over as TimeShift, developed by Saber Interactive and published by Sierra Entertainment, will give you a taste of what it feels like to control time – the first person shooter (FPS) allows players to master the flow of time, to become the ultimate weapon in war-torn environments.

Armed with the experimental time-manipulating Beta Suit and a huge arsenal of weaponry and vehicles, players have the ability to slow, stop and reverse the flow of time, allowing them to control several aspects of each battle sequence and puzzle situation.

Intuitive time controls give the player the ultimate advantage in avoiding attacks, correcting mistakes and outsmarting the enemy. But it doesn't take a genius to realize checking out the new demo is worth your time.

Even though this post is irritatingly spammy, I strongly suggest giving TimeShift a look.

It is, if absolutely nothing else, visually stunning. And I saw people in the ForceWare driver thread knocking it and giving it crap for the style, and come on...the suit in Crysis doesn't look that much better, and if you're gonna rag on something for being cornball, we have a whole trilogy of Unreal Tournament games for that. ;)

    DISCLAIMER: I <3 UT.

I agree, but this game is AMAZING .. in terms of visuals..

It looks ALOT better than the UT3 demo.

It was soo much fun running at a group of guys shooting at me, stopping time, taking all thier guns out of thier hands, and then watching them look around wondering wtf! :D

Runs kinda good considering the settings I was using... (max everything 1920x1200)

Best part is that there's alot of visual settings to mess with, so if I wanted to, I could turn down a few small settings and make it playable, about 35+fps in 1920x1200, without killing the nice textures or shadowing.

I haven't played the PC version yet, but I had played the 360 demo, hopefully the controls work a lot better on the PC(Like I know they will). I know from the 360 demo at least, the game got a huge make over from the demo that came out a year ago.

I would like to control time now please.
