Ok, so I bought a 360 controller today so I could use it for my PC games. I've never been able to setup controller settings. I mean like I know how but I don't know how to do it appropriatly. Like I don't know which buttons I should assign to do what function. When I set it up it just feels wrong!

Do any of you have any tips or where I can find premade configs. I know this is an ignorant question because no one knows what I like and I don't know what anyone else likes. All I can say is I'm accustomed to the Halo controller settings. I would like to play Half Life 1, 2 and Enemy Territory: Quake Wars with the gamepad.
