Just tryed out the Titan Quest Demo on my laptop. According to the system requrements this game should be almost as demanding as Oblivion. I tryed it out and with most settings at medium it was still looking way better than Oblivion, and not far as laggy. And ALL objects and houses is casting dynamic shaddows that moves as the day passes by. Truly an amazing graphical experience even at medium settings. I didn't check any framerates, but i would guess above 20-25 fps at all times on my mobility x1600 card.
Very fun game as well. Can't wait for the full game to be released. It's classed as RPG, but it feels more like an adventure game than an RPG. Very nice game and i would recomend all to download and try the demo. =)
The demo is availabe at fileplanet.

If you try it out, let me know how it runs on your laptop.
Anyone else who tryes it too can post how well their Laptop handle this awesome game. -
Just ran the demo again just to check some framerates. Using "Medium" overrall on the settings i was getting around 25-30 fps in most areas. Somewhere down to 15fps. Playting at low settings the game still looked good and was getting around 30-50 fps most places... just occationally down to about 25.
Just some info about what to expect if you try this game on your laptop.
I'm using 2.0Ghz Core Duo. 1 GB Ram, Mobility Radeon x1600. If you like Oblivion you will probably like this one too! -
Riggi,
What resolution are you running this game at?
Did you try to lower it to see what frames you getting then?
What laptop model/brand you are using?
thanks,

I'm using an LG S1 Express Duo. I'm playing at my native Screen Resolution 1280x800. I think the framerate was acceptable since even at "medium" settings the game looks far better than Oblivion. Much better texture work, and EVERY object is casting dynamic shaddows. I couldn't even turn off the shadows, just set them to low detail, wich didn't look so good, but i guess much better than no shadows at all.
Besides from that i think the full game will be optimized a bit better and not require so much of the system resources. -
256mb x700 played it remarkably well at medium highish.

I'm wondering how well this game will run on the Dell XPS 1210 with 2GB of RAM and the 7400Go in it. I'm wanting to order this game since the demo was pretty fun when I played on my desktop.

Hi All,
I'm new but have been reading the forums for some time. Just tried out the Titan Quest Demo on my Acer 8204 (X1600 256MB) and it's gorgeous. I can't wait for the game to hit the shelves. I don't think it'll be a Diablo killer but it'll satisfy my Diablo cravings for the time being -

I played the full version (dont ask where to get it) and it looking very good
Very Diablo style, the items is more details, which is good. Opening movie look good but not that good. The female model is so so, I create both of them.
Overall, this is a good game, I run it at low-medium setting and it looking good.
This in my opinion is a very good RPG this year, you should play it if you like RPG
PS. After playing the game for 15', the game crash -
I know where to get those copies too but I prefer going down the err... clearer path. I'll wait for it come out later this week. Thanks for your feedback though, anubis. Will definitely get it
