I run Titan Quest on my Core 2 duo with 2 gigs ram, (STILL haven't upgraded to 8800 gtx, so...) 1900xt 512, and 1920x1200...

And I get 20 fps on highest settings

This on a diablo type game, I could only imagine how bad it would run if it was in 3d

How bad would this run on a pentium d?

Oblivion is also in 3d, looks better than Titan Quest, and I can run it better than Titan Quest on my Core 2 duo

Look, you'll be able to run it. Your specs will run anything out there. You just may have to lower a few settings to play at max resolution.

I ran Titan Quest on a GeForce Go7400 on medium-high settings and XGA resolution. There's no way you won't be able to run it on maximum settings with your setup. The Pentium D may be an older/slower processor than the Core 2 Duo, but it is still very capable and will have no problem with the latest games.

    I figured out the problem.

I haven't updated the patches on the core 2 duo one.

Patch 1.01 is evil. Patch 1.20 is far and away playable.
