    Anybody check it out?

Behemoth refurb laptop - decent gaming rig with a go 7600... Not top of the line, but then neither's the price...

I haven't exactly heard a lot of good things about WOOT recently. Their resellers rating ( www.resellerratings.com) is doing down.

Nice find though...if anyone's interested in that do it before the sale changed. My understanding is that it does several times a day.

This one 'll last till Midnight EST today or till stock is depleted... Hadn't heard that about the reseller's rating - interesting to know. I've bought a couple of things from them (all sub $100) and haven't been dissappointed... At least not yet anyway.

That actually seems pretty good for the price; I mean while its not C2D it is 2.16 ghz.

Although...that 17 pounds is never going on my lap.

that is a pretty sweet desktop replacement for those that do some light travel and need a computer in a hotel room or move from job to job....and casual gamers as well

the hd dvd and 20.1 screen are the specs that really stand out to me. very good price... too bad i barely have $90 in my account hahaha

It's funny to read all the comments on there. Especially the one guy who said "It's not even Core 2. Core Duo is waaay slower compared to Core 2 Duo."

    Ummm.... mmmkay.

Anyways, I don't really understand why someone would want to buy a 20.1" refurb laptop like that when they could get a brand new Asus A8js with the same specs and 14" screen for the same price. But that's me...

EDIT: The Asus A8js actually has a better graphics card than that...

the price is the only thing that caught my eye, but I don't plan on getting it. Even if i had the money.
