Spoiler alert inside, for those want to but have not played, don't read it.

I spent hours and hours trying to get 100% stealth on all levels, and when I finally reach the end, after I killed Emile and diffused the bomb, the game freezes on me. It freezes on the opening scene where the SWAT people jump in from the window. Actually, I didn't even get to see the SWAT people jump in - I know that they do because I went on Youtube looking for a movie for the ending. (My game is patched to 1.02)

Double Agent for the last gen systems is actually a lot better. I have both versions (current gen is PC, 360, and PS3; last gen is Wii, PS2, Xbox, and Gamecube), and the last gen one is longer, has much better level design, gives you more moral choices, has much more fleshed out characters, a way better plot, and plays more like a traditional splinter cell game due to more darkness. Plus the ending is way better.

Shouldn't have spent that $15... I just hope Convicted will be less buggy, at least let me see the whole ending.

aw man. i love splinter cell. i have all of them and have beat all of them (CT being my fav, big surprise :p).

anyway, DA was, at least for the original xbox, a bland extension of CT. it didn't add anything new (and no that back and forth between the NSA and the bad dudes was not worth it). sad times. also, the endings are never that exciting (see PT and CT).

I liked Chaos Theory up until the Bathhouse level where all those dudes with thermal vision came out... I like Double Agent too, especially the fact that I'm working for two people, and Ubisoft Shanghai finally learned to make the plot more interesting by throwing in a female character and a relationship like every other game that is story-dependent. But I did not like the ending at all. Ending just killed the game, and also there wasn't really much shadow in the game as the previous few, it was more hiding behind boxes rather than hiding in the shadow.
Now let's see how the multiplayer is... I hope it's good!
