Yeah, I forgot about that. I was running BC with a 9500M GS and it would max out. I switched to WAR since then though, seems like I made a good choice.

I might be incorrect, but the price tag on that site is well out of proportion for the laptop's specs if I'm not mistaken.

Spec-wise though it should be able to run regular WoW maxed out at 1440x ... and at about medium settings with low shadows at same or slightly lower res of 1280x800 as far as the new expansion is concerned (I think).

Although seriously, it seems overly expensive ... $2000?
I'd skip it and find a laptop with a high end gpu and other better specs for THAT price.

I am aware that he's in Australia ... at the same time though, it seems WAY overpriced even for Australia.

Thanks guys, all the tips etc is much appreciated as I don't know all the much about computers :)

Question, if you purchase a laptop is it possible to upgrade a dedicated graphics card, or does it depends on model etc?

Well, as of January 1, Sony have bumped the prices of their range by 25%. Other manufacturers are doing the same. This is how the US financial crisis is affecting us. Laptops are just more expensive here than they were a month ago.

    No, you can't upgrade.
