lol, that's pretty much TM:Nations in a nutshell.

can't say I care much for the TM series as it seems a bit more of a "silly fun game" you play for a few minutes rather than the type of game you can really get in to. Sometimes it got so silly that you ended up spending more time airborne than on the track.

My problem is that I could never find a good control solution. Keyboard offered no real fine control, gamepad was almost too sluggish, and wheel didn't work at all really. I could easily achieve Silver, but seemed nearly impossible in half of the tracks to get Gold.

TM is awesome. What you have to realize is it is less an racing game than an action-puzzler. I hope they don't make it like every other racer. From the video though, it looks like they won't, which is good. I just hope it still has a good track builder (tile based) like the old ones.

I have Trackmania United, and the stadium mode is my favorite. I play with an Xbox 360 controller and it's amazing.

Keyboard worked great for me on TM: Nations Forever. Got gold on pretty much everything.

The graphics looks great but it's hard to see the details because it's filmed with a camcorder. But I'm definitely getting this game when it's available.
