    Trials 2 - Spring Jump?

    I finally got into Trials 2 even though I've owned it quite a while and can't even get past the tutorial stage because I can't seem to spring jump onto the first platform.

    Any pointers? I've watched the sample a billion times and I'm almost never high enough. I've tried springing up earlier, then later and can never quite make it. Frustrating.
