Fans of the tribes series will appreciate this. Some of the developers from Dynamix have created a browser based recreation of it. Broswer based? Yeah I know buts its not bad at all. I think its been in development for a year or so. Its completley free and is ad-supported. Its in open beta right now. All you need is a browser. :)

ITs pretty cool. Theres a point system where you earn points on how long yo play and how well you do. You use these points to vote on what things you want changed and to essentially shape how the game is made. Its a pretty cool way to have the beta users directly involved in the game.

Heres the link. You need Firefox or IE, Opera is not supported.

A JETPACK FFS! THE GLORIOUS JETPACK!

Graphics are pretty impressive and the gameplay is addictive. See you there. My name is forerunner of course. :)

works with firefox 2, IE, and safari, but it seems to not like mac.

windows only i guess? don't see why.. :(

what the hell... why did they make this a browser based game? why didn't they just release it. it takes forever to download and you have to install software...

sorry but that was stupid on their part. still- even stupidity and inconvenience isn't going to stop me from enjoying tribes.

i even loved tribes vengeance, and that was a flop.
