I sometimes play games like Warcraft III but every time halfway through a game like DotA or any other game, the fps drops and becomes laggy. I'm thinking it's the GPU downclocking by the driver when temps reach almost 90 degrees centigrade. (I use HWMonitor 1.10 to check the temps when this happens.) I'm pretty sure this GPU has more potential and it's due to the driver issue capping the performance of the card. What should I do the remedy this situation? I'm using version 175.97 from the Dell website. Thanks.

It's not downclocking, it's overheating. You are not alone, many many many of us have had issues with this. Check out the link in my signature for more (lots more) information.
