Is there a way to tune C&C Generals Zero Hour for improved performance? I ask this for the sake of running on my Eee. It runs ok, except framerates can be a little choppy at times.

Turn off the most demanding graphical options. Stuff like realtime shadows and special effects can overwhelm the EEE's little IGP. At what settings do you run it now?

The C&C engine is the one that choking. I remember with all C&C games except Tiberium Wars the game would chug whenever I got dozens of units on my screen. My 6800 Ultra was no slow poke. Heck, some rushes looked more like slide shows to me. Just engine problems.
