I have recently upgraded my NEC Laptop with Core 2 Duo T7200 (VERSA E6210-7200DLP) from XP Pro to Vista Business. The graphic card of the machine is Turbo Cache 256MB nVIDIA GeForce Go 7300. Unfortunately after the upgrade, the Aero Glass of Vista cannot be run. I am surprised, as I have that even the earlier Go series should be capable of running the feature. Am I missing something? Please kindly advise. :)

No something has to be wrong. Aero's requirements are way over exaggerated online. I did hear something that some versions of Vista do not come with Aero, maybe that's the problem?

be sure all the necessary graphics drivers are updated or installed. check out nvidia's website for the newest Vista 7300 drivers

go 7300 should be more than enough to run vista aero

Hmm. Vista Business does have the Aero feature, are you sure it's turned on?

Also are is your 7300 recognized by Vista? You may need to install a driver.

You may need to update your graphics drivers...just about any card currently sold should handle Aero... :(

I did go to nvidia.com site ( http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp) to try download the driver for GeForce Go 7300. Apparently, the downloadable driver for GeForce 7series is for Windows XP/2000 only; there is no option for Vista. :(

After installing the Nvidia drivers suggested by Chaz remember to run the Windows experience index. Aero usually should enable itself after it updates the score.

put your battery plan at high performance. Anything lower can disable Aero.
    See if that's the problem.
