    1. When(if ever) will I be able to buy a 7900 go gtx card?

    2. Can my Dell e1705 take a 7900 go gtx card?

    Thanks!

You can buy one now. I think.

The dell can take the 7900 GS. And, if I remember correctly, the GTX is just overclocked a bit more than the GS. Am I lying?

    EDIT:
oh, maybe 256mb more vram too... 8)

Well, the Go7900GS and Go7900GTX are based on the same chip - the GTX has 24 pixel pipelines and higher clocks, and the GS has 20 pipes and lower clocks.

You can buy the Go7900GTX right now in noteboks. The Sager NP5760, Dell XPS M1710, and Toshiba Satellite P105 are among those that have it.

I know that I can get the 7900 go gtx in a notebook.

What I meant was can I buy a 7900 go gtx card by itself somewhere (not ebay)?

If so, is it physically possible to replace my 7900 go gs card with it.

Unless you call dell and lie to them that your m1710 gpu broked, and that you need a replacement forget about upgrading.

    Unless you look at ebay....

So there are no current plans to release a retail version of the 7900 go gtx?
