    UK Manufacturers for high end gaming laptops

    Are there manufacturers that deliver high end gaming laptops to the UK? I've seen recommendations of Sager and Clevo and while I would have jumped at the chance to get the high end models there, they don't seem to sell or deliver to the UK.

    I couldn't find anything similar to the XPS1710 other than Dell's own Alienware. There are others but they're either more expensive and/or cannot match the highest spec of the 1710.

    Any info you guys could share or am I stuck with the 1710/Aurora/Area 51 as my choices?

    Aaargh! Must cancel dell order and research all these new options again!

    Thanks guys! The only one I was familiar with here was rock direct (but I forgot what it was called so thanks again).

    That Zepto link was enlightening. I didn't know I could get so much into a 14.1" notebook. I may even have to rethink why I even want a 17".

    Having considered the M1710, th Rock X700 and the Alienware, I decided upon and ordered the dell today. Was a lot cheaper than the Alienware and even pipped the Rock. The on-site warranty helped sway my decision as did my concerns over the Rock's noise levels - can't have a silly fan spoiling £1600 of goodness!
