    That would need to account for which laptop if it's comparing laptops, and which CPU if it's comparing CPUs... otherwise there'll be quite a difference.

    it's at most 10 fps difference with different CPU unless being bottlenecked by dual core (which they're not), CPU used are listed at the bottom for desktop GPU

    Each laptop can do things VERY differently though. I know why I'm saying that.

    pretty sure 980ms in sli can get way more than 42fps in battlefield at 4k. 880ms get 40-55 depending on scenes or even more. don't trust most of these benchmarks

    980M SLI = ~980 Ti/Titan X

    Assuming 980M SLI is using BF4's Ultra preset, which includes 4x MSAA, 42 FPS @ 4K is not far-fetched at all.

    Except that my 780Ms at 950/6000 get 35-50, so 980M SLI should get quite a lot more than 42.

    That kind of GPU usage must be orgasmic for you. You should play everything at 4K.
