    URGENT! in need of 8400m gs bios.

    I cannot overclock through the drivers and i dont have any floppy drives or usb drives arround. can i ask of a favor to anyone who can supply me with a bios file from an 8400m gs out of a vostro 1400? it has to be the original bios.

    Even you get a 8400M GS bios file you still need a usb drives to flash your original bios file.

    i can do it the cd way. but acquiring the bios is the problem. please email it to [email protected]

    so it is not possible to overclock it through modding the bios?

    if some one finds a way to extract the ROM from that .exe and then reinsert it, it should be possible

    edit- it seams that dell's are phoenix bios, if so, you can use winplash to make a bios backup. them we shoud be on business

    dude, stop right there. that overclock is not gonna make a 7950gtx out of ur card. u got what u paid for, deal with it, like it or not. can't make a candy out of a piece of shiat(that's a Russian saying, by the way). nothing against ur card.

    i have an rom file of a vostro 1500. it also has a 8400 gs. what happens if i flash my vostro 1400 with it?

    They do not use the same BIOS, it won't work.
