I just bought a Insperion 9300 (specs in sig) for gaming and taking to Lan parties. I mostly play UT 2004. I have found that when I alt/tab to minmize the game and go to desk top, or if I successfully accomplish it, when I return to the game I get the blue screen of death stating a major issue occured and a memory dump took place. then I reboot and sometimes I have to reset my display settings. Keep in mind, I never have these issues on my desktop.

I already went to Dell's tech support and they said my hardware is fine and wanted me to pay for their software support  kind of irked me since the rig is 3 days old...

Any ideas? Are their any new drivers for that graphics card? I couldn't find any on Nvidia's site.

I'd re-install the game and any patches it has. You obviously have more than enough hardware to run it.

If those drivers don't work for you, you might wanna try drivers directly from nVidia. I am almost sure that nVidia's drivers will work on your machine.

    Good luck with the game!

    Update!

The new drivers from Dell did the trick, and upped my 3D benchmark 300 points too. Now I get 85 fps while playing UT 2k4 without OC the GPU.

Will be interesting to see how it runs BF2
