This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     UT3demo.exe = malicious process?

    after i downloaded the demo from fileplanet, spywaredoctor detected a potential malicious process in ut3demo.exe

    is this for real or what?

    I don't think so,

    The installer also copies some AEGIA PhysX files onto your HDD, so that might be the reason for the alarm. But you should check that file just to be on the safe side.

    Stuff like this happens alot, not only with this particular game. It's the virus scanners, which are probably a little too alert. If you downloaded this from a reliable source (like Fileplanet), you shouldn't worry.
