    UT3demo.exe = malicious process?

    after i downloaded the demo from fileplanet, spywaredoctor detected a potential malicious process in ut3demo.exe

    is this for real or what?

    I don't think so,

    The installer also copies some AEGIA PhysX files onto your HDD, so that might be the reason for the alarm. But you should check that file just to be on the safe side.

    Stuff like this happens alot, not only with this particular game. It's the virus scanners, which are probably a little too alert. If you downloaded this from a reliable source (like Fileplanet), you shouldn't worry.

    why would you think there would be viruses from fileplanet.
