Has Ubisoft ever created a great game? I always feel ripped off when I get one of their games.

Well if it's as good on PC, this will be their first. good point but it isn't out yet. So far all I see is average games, plus they release all those movie based stinkers, Beowulf, Kingkong etc.

Splinter Cell's pretty good. Far Cry was boring as hell, in my opinion :)

Another vote for Far Cry. Also Rainbow Six: Vegas. And it's my understanding that the Prince of Persia games are pretty sweet.

ubisoft is known for releasing shoddy glitchy ports to the pc

rainbow six: ravenshield was a truly GREAT game, also an absolutely horrid glitch disaster until many patches were released over a long period of time.

I still play ravenshield with some of my buddies.

More to the point, HoMMV and its 2 expansions. At least they had the sense to buy the license off a bankrupt 3DO and New World Computing.

    BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL!

Best action adventure game ever created. EVER.

    SERIOUSLY.

I was expecting some silly camera game when I bought it, and then I was absolutely blown away by the characters, storylines, environments, simple + fun gameplay.

I have yet to play a game as involving and personally epic as Beyond Good and Evil.

If you have not played it, BG&E should be at the top of EVERYONE's list.

I also liked FarCry and the Prince of Persia games. The first three Splinter Cells weren't too bad either.

bg&e gets a giant "meh" from me. it's like zelda but less so...even though I'm not too big of a fan of zelda I still think bg&e doesnt hold much against it...

Zelda is a great game, but it is world's (literally) different in theme and style.

    BG&E really drew me in.

assassin's creed, rainbow six: vegas (vegas 2 should be good too!), splinter cell (all of em are great, double agent is my fav, and conviction looks sick), far cry (far cry 2 gonna be great!)

    ubisoft makes great games :D

Beyond Good & Evil counts for 3 good games.
Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, Far Cry... I think they've got plenty of good games. I can't remember if they made the original Deus Ex, but they've got the rights to the third one, yay :D

I mean, how many good EA games can you think of? (No, Repackaged Sports Game From Last year 2008 edition is not a good game. And The Sims expansions #28 isn't either)

    Or Take 2?

All of them have sucky games, and all of them have a handful of kick-ass ones.

None of those requirements have been confirmed. I doubt it will require 3GB to run. I can almost guarantee it will run just fine on a laptop with 8600m GT, Core 2 Duo 1.6GHz+, and 2GB RAM.

Yeah, its so sad the 360 and PS3 have 3GB RAM... so sad... =P

I think those requierements shown in that thread were kind of ubber-high, specially the RAM amount doesn't makes any sense... well, it's a relief for the HD at least...

Well, they did drop Starforce on their games - that does say something positive about them at any rate.
