So I have a MSi GT60 with an NVidia 680m. My FPS in a few games (Crysis, Batman Arkham Asylum, even Dota 2 at some points) has been a little shotty so I decided to download 3DMark 11. I ran the basic test and got this: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3610QM Processor,Micro-Star International Co., Ltd. MS-16F3 score: P1320 3DMarks. That is way under performing for what I've seen other people get at stock. Did 3Dmark run weird because of Optimus? What could be causing this FPS drops?

    Any help is appreciated!

    - Make sure you're running this plugged in, not on battery.
    - Check the Window's active power profile is not on Battery Saver. Either set it on Balanced or High Performance.
    - Set the nVidia GPU as the default for all applications in nVidia Control Panel. Run 3DMark and see if you get the 'correct' score.
    - Re-install nVidia drivers.

Your physic score is fine, however the GPU is holding back, was the power adapter plugged in? If it's plugged in, is the power adapter rated at least 180W?

Its your 680M idling or downclocked. That GPU score is almost the double of what your IGP from Optimus would score

I'm guessing you should get closer to p7000 with your turbo mode enabled.
