I have a Toshiba SLI1 with two 8600m GT and having just undervolted the CPU from 1.1750v to 1.0v I'd like to know if I can do the same for the GPUs.
Links to programs and guides appreciated. [and yes, I am looking elsewhere, but I haven't found anything yet]
Thanks.

Well nibitor would be your choice though that involves flashing your GPU´s. No link to any undervoltage guide though.

Thanks for the link, but I'm not going to go to that extreme. Me and Bios flashing don't have a good history.

wow I have the same notebook and got interested in doing that too. Does undervolting extend your battery life? Does it decrease the computing power of the cpu? How's your performance in gaming? What's the benefits of undervolting and what's the dangers and/or downside to it? One last thing how do I undervolt it? Is it a program I can install and uninstall similar to rivatuner and is it difficult complicated or you just click and good to go?

it increases battery life. the only down side is you get bosds if you undervolt too much.

could this damage the electronics and brick my notebook?
-
Flashing the gpu bios, definitely yes.

Battery life will increase, temp will be lower, it will not change performance and it can brick you card.
