Cool I guess, 20 levels sounds like a lot of potential game time. If they had not cut the adult content out of the game I think I would have tried it out.

What adult content did they cut out? You can still run around as a topless female char if you want and cut peoples heads off.

I did notice they cleaned up some of the dialog to remove foul language, but that is about it.

I played the game when it came out, and I'm sure it's VERY different now, but at launch, the first 20 levels was pretty much the entire game.

Everything on the starter island of Tortage was beautiful and fully voice acted. After that, the developers took a nap.

    Good news.

Converting struggling MMO's to F2P has proven to be successfull before, just look at Dungeons & Dragons Online.
At least this deserves a second look, so im gonna check it out.

Just finished downloading it... was curious about it when it was first released, then read of the issues and forgot about it.

Will give it a shot here. Curious though, what content was removed?

Wow this game died fast lol.... I remember before it came out a bunch of people were claiming it was going to the best mmo ever, after it launched they stubbornly stuck to that claim, and now everyone knows its gone..

It is between 25-30GB after you are done completely patching the full game. The trial is probably less, but I have no idea how much...

The game is not going anywhere anytime soon. There is an expansion coming out in the first half of 2010.

    Live demo here: http://www.xfire.com/cms/xf_tnss/

More updates on their test server that will probably go live in about a month.

After playing the game for 1 and half years it has been my fav out of all the mmo's i've played. It seperates itself from the other through its graphically advanced world and unique combat system. I plan on re-subbing as soon as I beat all the games I just bought.

Downloading right now. Been itching to play some MMOs lately, but unwilling to pay for it, or play any of those crappy free ones :p
