the 200m has only 2 pipelines right?.. and essentially it's the same core as the x300.. is there a way to unlock the pipelines?

I have read a couple posts around... Is there a way to re activate these with a bios flash?

    this chip would kick ass

It's impossible to do that from my knowledge.

And the chip wouldn't be much faster . . maybe to the speed of an X300, which is about ~30% faster than the X200M.

It is not possible to do this. Your laptop isn't designed for 3D graphics . . .

There are several problems with your idea: 1. The graphics card in yours is in the chipset, not an actual card. 2. It wouldn't work.

i mean it handles the games just fine. 50 fps in css:source is handleing pretty good id say, and as for impossible, there isnt to many impossible things when it comes to computer modifing. It just hasnt been attempted yet. it may be inside of the chipset but it still in therory may have all four with 2 deactivated.

    ill look into softmodding
