    Unlocking BIOS

    If i do this will i be able to overclock my CPU without the need of any software? (using the BIOS flashing guide)

    sorry if im posting too much about this same question but im really determined to OC my CPU to around 2.6 Ghz at least.

    Your CPU will still be locked. Only Extreme chips have unlocked multipliers to overclock.

    The alternative is to raise the FSB..

    I dont think my chipset is supported by ClockGen or SetFSB.

    i guess it is no use then :(
