I didn't find this searching the forums, I really think that search don't work very well for big threads.

I can't start the unreal 3 with my computer, it shows the splash screen and then my computer give me a black screen for a long time. Sometimes I get a blue screen too.

I updated the drivers to 163.75 and still have this issue.

If it helps, my bioshock don't get the higher quality shaders, although the demo got(I don't remember if I changed the drivers or something)

    Thanks

    1. What is the OS? XP or Vista?
    2. It's not wise to upgrade NVidia Drivers in windows Vista, your cooling fan might stop working! I've experienced it! consider checking if fans work.
    3. Some graphics cards does not support some games for no good reason, for example Geforce Go 7900 GS does not support Counter Strike

There is no proof of #2. Now while I'm not saying that this didn't didn't happen to you, it is certainly not the norm. Many people, including myself have had no problems keeping the drivers up to date in vista, in fact it's recommended to keep your drivers updated.

I'm having a weird issue starting UT3 as well, and its resisted 2 graphics driver updates, an audio driver update, multiple hotfixes, and a complete reinstall of UT3. I'm convinced its a weird x64 issue- do you happen to have Vista x64? I'm getting memory holes left and right, from AIM to my little fingerprint reader program.

Do you even know anything about Vista or operating systems?

The rest is a bunch of BS.

That's ridiculous. I have a go 7900gs and I've never had ANY problems with counter strike.

The second point is wrong too.
