They're probably afraid that no one will buy their game with the original requirements, which basically screamed "crappy port".

Well that's better. I thought 3GB required was the result of sloppy porting, which wouldn't surprise me still if it's a sloppy port, however 1-2GB is much more inline with the latest game specs. Curious how this will play on PC, but will wait for others to guinea pig before I buy.

Why bother, it was a lackluster game on the 360. Very repetitious.

PC version is gonna be called Assassin’s Creed: Director’s Cut Edition and going to have four extra missions ;) So, there we go, a reason to buy a PC version.

Cool and fun are very different.

It's a very cool game, but only fun for a few hours. After doing the same missions and quests over and over again in each city, it gets repetitive. Eventually I stopped doing the missions and instead spent some time climbing all over the cities (which is ridiculously fun) and then stopped playing because that too got boring.

I just beat it and I enjoyed it immensely.

It seemed to be one of the few games for me as of late that I could put in 3-4 hours straight of gameplay and not get irritated or bored.
It IS repetitious, don't get me wrong, but in a fun way. The missions are all pretty similar but jumping from rooftop to rooftop and silently shanking someone with your little wrist blade is always very satisfying. The story is also interesting so that kept me intruiged. Overall about 25 hours of gameplay in the main mission, probably close to 50 if you want to do every little thing.

Also the graphics are amazing, the shadows, lighting and hdr really shine in this game. I had some framerate issues on the xbox so this is a pretty demanding on hardware (I would assume). I'm interested in seeing how the port to PC is, I may pick it up just for the extra missions and see how my 8800GT handles it.

    Overall, I definitely recommend it.

Ya I have a feeling I'll like it too, pending it doesn't run like SCDA. If that's the case then I'll be seriously disappointed as I was with SCDA.
