Is anyone aware of an updated driver for the 6600 go? I have a Quanta KN1c-PM and the driver is over a year old, both on Sabio's website and the driver disk that came with the whitebox.

Try the modded drivers from www.tweaksrus.com. They work pretty well.

You can also try the drivers from www.laptopvideo2go.com, but you'll have to replace the .INF file if you want to install those (not hard to do).

My friend with a z71v swears by the ones on laptopvideo2go. Replacing the INI isnt too hard.

I've used both and they both work fine. I like the stock drivers with modded inf. though as i don't have to see the tweaksrus labels whenever my computer refers to the videocard.

Thanks for all the replies. The laptopvideo2go driver worked fine with the inf swap. MY benches are improved, but I am still getting very poor 2d performance. Any thoughts?

What's the problem with your 2d performance? I'm trying the XtremeG drivers tonight, so I'll let you know if they work well.

The scores for 2d rendering are abnormally low in a few benchmarks. I've noticed some missing vertices in some of my cartographic programs, too. Things just not drawing properly, or with a speed that is acceptable without too many regens. I initially thought it was the driver, but am now thinking it is the card as these new drivers don't seem to change much 2d-wise. The new drivers improved my 3d though, and that is good for the gaming that I do.
