I own a Toshiba Satellite L505-13W with a ATI Radeon HD 5165 Graphics adapter.
Ive been trying to update the ATI catalyst Control version but it doesn't seem to work.
I downloaded the 12.1 catalyst suite from ATI site but when i try to run it the 'hardware incompatibility' window keeps popping up.
Also am desperately trying to update my display drivers and am not able to find any updated drivers anywhere.

According to AMD, Toshiba laptops aren't supported by AMD drivers. Not sure what's going on there.

    ATI Catalyst? Mobility Display Driver

There might be a way to bypass the hardware compatibility check, which as indicated from the AMD article may result in problems with your laptop. If you try getting around it, make sure you have a copy of the latest Toshiba-provided drivers in case you have to revert. This is the only information I've been able to find with a quick search...
