Is the procedure for updating video card driver for ATI 4670 on Windows 7 the same as updating video card driver in Vista?

Yep. I imagine so. You don't need to worry about not having support either, unlike my 3650.

I went to the website on the sticky page, but it says that I should download the drivers from my manufacturer. But when I went to the Asus website, it doesn't even have the model X83VP-P1, only X83VB and VM... But there is one for N81, should I consider my X83 to be he same as N81?

Off topic, but what overclocking and temperature monitoring program are Windows 7 64bit compatible?

Hmm, I'm not quite sure for overclocking. GPU-Z works for me for the monitoring clocks and temperatures, HWMonitor also works for heat monitoring.

You could give Rivatuner or ATI Tool a try.

As for your manufacturer driver download, you don't need to go to Asus' site. ATI now has the proper drivers and the proper support with Windows 7. You only need to select what card you have, and it should come up with the latest driver pack.

Asus is also a little slow for getting the latest drivers, ATI has 9.12 drivers released which are pretty stable.

Desktop Drivers + Mobility Modder = New Drivers

Installs just like they do on the desktop.

Of course may not work for every system or every driver set but so far I have it working great with 9.11 on the W90

Are you running Windows 7 32 bit or 64 bit?

    Windows 7 32/64 bit > Mobility Radeon > 4000 series

    ATI Catalyst Control Center 9.9

    http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx

That is the link, all you need to do is the order I mentioned before.

AMD supported notebook drivers until Windows 7 hit the market.
But using the mobility modder ViciousXUSMC suggested is the only method for getting the latest drivers that as of now is ATI Catalyst 9.12.
    ATI Mobility Modder by Driverheaven

In ATI Catalyst 9.12 you also get support for Adobe Flash 10.1 beta 2.

I'm using 64bit. And I guess the problem is that I chose "Notebook" instead of Mobility Radeon... Thanks for the help :)

EDIT: I just downloaded the Catalyst Software Suite, but not sure what to do next. Is the software suite considered a driver or is a program which I have to use to update my current driver?

On Vista the 9.12 drivers are terrible, they drastically reduced my framerates...
Maybe the 9.12 drivers for Windows 7 are better. Come to think of it, I should probably install my Windows 7 soon.

    Heres the steps for installing.

1: Start the ATI Catalyst driver suite and it will extract by default to C:\ATI\.
Then cancel it once its extracted since its unmodded.
    2: Install ATI Mobility Modder.
3: Run ATI Mobility Modder as Admin and point it to where ATI Catalyst got extracted.
    Then choose modify.
4: Open the ATI folder (C:\ATI\.) and find setup.exe.
5: Run setup.exe and enjoy the updated driver.

No, I think the program is included with the driver itself.
