Im planning to get notebooks which you can upgrade the graphic card(remove and replace) and I'm wondering if dell inspiron 1525 and 1420 may be upgradeable. Would that be possible?

Nope. The DELL can only change the card if Dell provide the upgrade (most of the time they don't).

How about reading this and especially this. :D

Besides, the 1525 has integrated graphics anyways, so scratch that entirely.

Well, I live in Canada and in the Dell website, it shows that inspiron 1420 option can go from Intel's X3100 or Nvidia Geforce 8400gs. Dell 1525 doesn't have upgradable graphic card option

Which means that neither are upgradeable. The x3100 card is integragted, so that's a no-go. The 8400M on the 1420 has nothing better to be upgraded to since it's the best GPU that comes with it.

Possibly you're confused? You can configure the 1420 with the Geforce 8400GS, but you can't upgrade an existing X3100.
