    Ok here's a full list:

MSI GT series machines (All of em)
    Clevo P750, P775, and P870 chassis machines.

    ...That's it with Pascal.

Anything thin and light never is.

That's not quite true, not to say - not true at all.

The GT series were promised to be upgradeable, but in the end they never were (OK maybe for a short while GTX 8x0m -> GTX 9x0m, but not as long as promised (2 gens of upgrades)). Don't believe me - check the msi's sub-forum, there's quite lengthy thread on the matter from "happy" costumers.

The clevos were never promised upgradeable to start with, it just happens that some were, some weren't, some required custom BIOSes and etc. Then to add even more salt to the wound, they've changed the GPU design for Pascal. It remains to be seen if they'll keep it for future GPUs.

As of now there's literary 0 (ZERO!!!) laptops that are guaranteed upgradeable. Well there's Eurocom who claim upgradeability, the thing is that they also said that they'll bring some Pascals and RX 480 to standard MXM-B factor, but that was an year ago and needless to say it is yet to happen, so...

I more meant theyre capable of upgrading as they have mxm. We dont know if itll be supported.

Clevo is more likely from what I know.

MSI ? Wrong.. Last gen was not upgradable, nothing prevents them from doing it again..

Like I just said. Was referring to they have MXM. So like a 1060 model can upgrade to a 1070. Not across gen necessarily.

which basically is almost meaningless :) the whole point of upgradability is to go cross-gen.

You can't trust MSI when it comes to GPU upgrades.
