    Processor:
    Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5750 @ 2.00GHz (2 CPUs), ~2.0GHz
    Memory:
    3072MB RAM
    Video Card:
NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS (256MB RAM)

When I play TF2, usually when more people are in my view or just in the server. I start to get very low FPS. I get ok FPS in my own server, but I would like to get more. :p
So, I'm thinking it's my video card lacking RAM. Since my old desktop had only 1.8GHz, and had a videocard with 512MB RAM in it.
So am I right? Is it my video card that I need to upgrade or something else.
If it is my video card, what's good to upgrade too (Nivdia Only)? Something that does have at least 512MB RAM in it, I would prefer. And how much would it cost?

It likely is your video card. But unfortunately, laptop gpus cannot easily be replaced if at all.

Yes, we need to know your laptop model. You may luck out and be able to upgrade, but most likely not.
Of course, you should know that TF2, like all Source games, are rather CPU-intensive. 2.0 GHz may not be sufficient in this case - a CPU upgrade may be called for.

I dont think its because of videoram... my old desktop, P4 2.8 ghz and nvidia 6800 with 256 mb of vram could run TF2 pretty nicely... so I would consider it a software or heating problem.

LG hasn't adopted the MXM standard, and thus the GPU can't be upgraded on it anyway.
Try changing the resolution/graphics options to see if that makes a difference.
If yes, it's your GPU that's not able to keep up. Consider an overclock.
If not, then your CPU can't keep up. Try turning on Multicore Rendering to see if that makes a difference, or consider a CPU upgrade.

You may also need to experiment with various video drivers. If you have the latest driver then rolling back to a previous set might do the trick.
