    Greetings

I'm hoping someone here can answer this for me. First let me say that I'm not pc illiterate, I've built a number of desktops over the years. But as we know laptops are a whole different animal. I currently have a MSI GT70 0ND-219US with a GTX 675m installed. I would love to upgrade it to a GTX 980 but I'm sure that's out of the question. But how about something in the 800 series? An 870 3GB or a 880 8GB would be sweet. MSI tech support said it's possible but cautioned against heat issues, which is understandable of course.

I've seen cards for sale on eBay but can't find any one who can tell me exactly what cards will work in my machine.

Granted it is 2 plus years old but if I can safely upgrade the graphics card alone it sure would save me a lot of cash as everything on it works great. And as the old saying goes: If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
