    Urgent HELP needed for QUAKE 4 DEMO

    Hello,
    I have a dell inspiron 1720 and i downloaded and installed the quake 4 demo but when i try to run it , it goes to the quake logo and the loading game message and then it crashes to the desktop and displays this message on the console

    found DLL in pak file: C:/Program Files/id Software/Quake 4 Demo/q4base/game000.pk4/gamex86.dll
    copy gamex86.dll to C:/Program Files/id Software/Quake 4 Demo/q4base/gamex86.dll
    could not create destination file
    ********************
    ERROR: DLL extraction to fs_savepath failed



    I tried instalilng the latest drivers from the dell website but to no avail, can somebody help me out pleaase :(

    you might have got a corrupt demo file. Try re-downloading it.
